This plant opened its doors in 1919 as a manufacture of apple cider vinegar. As years
went by and the company grew, lines for apple juice and apple sauce were added to
the facility. In 1944, due to the tight labor market due to the second world war,
German POWs would serve as factory workers at this location. This factory remained
open and did a booming trade until 1985 when consumer demand far outgrew this
facility's capabilities and the company moved to a newer and larger property in a
different state, leaving the original complex abandoned and derelict.
