Resting on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay, North Point served as a general hospital for the
Veterans Affairs. There is still an active outpatient clinic on the grounds but the majority of the
campus sits abandoned. There are currently plans to renovate the main hospital to have it serve as
a center for elderly veterans.
