This vacant complex of medical and dormitory buildings were built in 1927 and
housed the medical treatment and recovery of the patient population of this, still
active psychiatric hospital. In 1975 the buildings were vacated and closed down due
to the construction of a new, state of the art medical facility on the campus. Since
then, these buildings have laid silent and empty.
In 2007, plans were announced to demolish these buildings, by the end of 2008,
photographs are all that will remain of these historic and beautiful buildings.
